WHO WE ARE
Kresko Studio ("Kresko", "we", "us") is a marketing and creative studio offering branding, social media management, advertising, content creation, photo and video shoots, video editing, post-production, web design, and SEO. This policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you visit our website at www.kreskostudios.space, contact us, appear in our shoots, or work with us.
WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT
When you contact us or become a client, you may give us your name, email address, phone number, company name, and job title. While we work together, you may also share project details, scripts, briefs, brand assets, and feedback. For billing, we collect your business name, address, and tax number. Payments are handled by our payment provider, and we do not store full card numbers. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address.
Our shoots and edits involve photos, video, and audio. This includes footage and recordings of the image, voice, and likeness of clients, staff, models, actors, and other people who appear, as well as the raw files, project files, and edited versions we receive from you or create for you. We may also collect location details for shoots, and contact details and signed releases from anyone appearing in our productions.
When you visit our website, we automatically collect your device and browser type, IP address, the pages you visit, the time you spend on them, and the site you came from, using cookies and similar tools. When we run campaigns or manage channels for you, we may be given access to your ad, analytics, website, or social media accounts. We use that access only for the work you have asked us to do.
HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use your information to reply to enquiries and prepare proposals; to plan, shoot, edit, and deliver photo, video, and marketing projects; to manage schedules and communicate with you; and to publish and promote content on your behalf as agreed. We also use it to send invoices and keep financial records, to send newsletters and offers (only with your consent), to improve our website and services, and to prevent fraud, keep our systems secure, and meet legal obligations. We may showcase our work in our portfolio, on our website, and on social media, but only where you and the people featured have agreed. We do not sell your personal information.
PEOPLE WHO APPEAR IN OUR SHOOTS
If you appear in photos, video, or audio we produce, we ask for your permission before using your image, voice, or likeness, usually through a signed release or written agreement. We use the content only for the purposes described in that agreement, such as a client's marketing campaign, and not for anything unrelated unless you agree.
When we film in public or semi-public places, we take reasonable steps to avoid capturing identifiable bystanders, or we blur or remove them in editing. If we use drones, we follow the applicable drone and aviation rules and, where possible, let people nearby know.
You can ask us to stop using content that features you. Content that has already been published, printed, or distributed by clients or third parties may not be possible to withdraw completely, but we will take reasonable steps to have it removed where we can.
CLIENT CONTENT AND OWNERSHIP
Files and footage you give us remain yours, and we use them only to deliver your project. Ownership and usage rights for finished work are set out in our agreement with you. Unless you ask us not to, we may include finished work in our portfolio and promotional material. If your project is confidential, tell us and we will keep it private. Where music, stock footage, fonts, or other licensed materials are used, they are used under the terms of their licences.
WHO WE SHARE INFORMATION WITH
We share information only with people who help us run the studio, and only what they need. This includes service providers for website hosting, email and newsletters, project management, cloud storage, video review and file transfer, editing and design software, analytics, and payments, such as [Google Workspace, Dropbox, Frame.io, Adobe, Mailchimp, Razorpay/Stripe, Notion]. It also includes advertising and social platforms such as Meta, Google, YouTube, and LinkedIn when we publish or run campaigns for you.
We may share information with freelancers and partners, such as camera operators, editors, voice artists, designers, and drone pilots, who work on your project under confidentiality terms. We may share crew and access details with venues, locations, or event organisers where a shoot requires it. We may also share information with professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers, and with authorities where the law requires it.
Some of these providers are based outside your country, so your information may be processed elsewhere. We choose providers that protect data to a reasonable standard.
COOKIES AND ANALYTICS
Our website uses cookies, which are small files stored on your device. We use essential cookies to make the site work, analytics cookies such as [Google Analytics] to understand how visitors use the site, and marketing cookies or pixels such as [Meta Pixel] to measure and improve our own advertising. Videos on our site may be hosted on platforms such as YouTube or Vimeo, which may set their own cookies when you play them. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work properly without them.
HOW LONG WE KEEP INFORMATION
We keep enquiries that do not become projects for up to [1] months. Client project files, communications, and final deliverables are kept for the length of the work plus [1] month. Raw footage, photos, and project files are kept for [1 to 2] months after delivery unless we agree a different period with you, so please keep your own backup of anything important. Invoices and accounting records are kept for as long as tax and company law require, typically [6 to 8] years. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe, and portfolio content stays up until you or the people featured ask us to remove it. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
SECURITY
We protect your information with measures such as password-protected accounts, two-step verification, encrypted connections, secure cloud storage, and limited access to client files and footage. No system is completely secure. If a breach affects you, we will tell you as the law requires.
YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you and to get a copy, to ask us to correct anything that is wrong or out of date, and to ask us to delete your information, including photos or video of you. You may also be able to object to or limit certain uses, including marketing, to withdraw consent you gave earlier, and to complain to your local data protection authority.
To use any of these rights, email us at thekreskostudios@gmail.com. We will reply within [30] days. To stop marketing emails, use the unsubscribe link in any message.
CHILDREN
Our services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, except where a parent or guardian has given written permission for a child to appear in a shoot. In that case, we use the content only as agreed with the parent or guardian. If you believe a child's details were given to us without permission, contact us and we will delete them.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. For significant changes, we will tell you by email or with a notice on our website.
